Barbara feels that her form of communication with the world is through the transparent expression of art with masterful skill and graceful fluidity.

Barbara turns 25e plus years as a professional multidisciplinary artist. She is an internationally, nationally and locally award-winning pastel, watercolor and colored pencil artist. Barbara’s unique style and technique combines transparent light, vibrant colors and intricate patterns that result in a creative rhythm of ebb and flow that documents her journey as a female visual artist. She is inspired by common everyday objects and focuses on magnifying the smallest details into a large, hyper-realistic form.

Barbara lives in Frisco, Texas and travels extensively around the world participating in art residencies, art competitions and finding inspiration for her artwork. In addition to traveling throughout the United States, she has traveled to East Africa, Greece, Italy, France, Barcelona, ​​Spain, Mexico, Turkey, British Virgin Islands, Porto Rico and Bermuda. Barbara’s works are now published and collected nationally and internationally by hospitals, corporations, public art programs and private patrons. She is a graduate of the Business Council for the Arts (North Dallas Chapter). As a Business Council for the Arts Alumni, Barbara works with the organization to bridge creativity and commerce. Barbara is the owner of art gallery/studio Dragonfly Studio Creations, greeting card company Ndueseason, Culture Cameo Jewelry and medical contract service Sound Integrity Ultrasound.

Barbara is an iconic member of the Pastel Society of America, the Pastel Society of the Southwest, the Degas Pastel Society, Texas and Neighbors, and the Arizona Pastel Artist Association. She is a jury member of the International Guild of Realism, Artist of Texas, American Women Artist Association and American Artist Professional League as well as a member of local/regional arts organizations such as: The Visual Arts Guild of Frisco, Plano Arts Association, Frisco Arts Foundation, Southwestern Watercolor Society. Barbara has exhibited her works in various prestigious museums such as: Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, Illinois State Museum, Robert Lange Gallery-Charleston SC., Winfield Gallery -Carmel, Ca. Salmagundi Club, NY. More recently his paintings; were awarded in the Top 100 paintings in 2019 & 2021 by Pastel Journal Magazine-The Best of Drawing. She received the American Women Artist’s Achievement Award and her paintings “Timeless” and “The Debater” are published in The Strokes of Genius the Best of Drawing magazine. Barbara is a seasoned art juror, curator, and instructor skilled in leading workshops and juried art exhibitions locally and corporately.
